KABUL – Unknown armed men have abducted seven staff members of an Indiancompany, KEC, early on Sunday morning in Baghlan province, local officialssaid.
They said six Indian staff members and one Afghan employee of the companyhave been abducted in Bagh-e-Shamal village, of the Pul-e-Khomre citycapital of Baghlan province.
According to local officials the incident happened while they weretraveling to the area, where the company owns an electricity sub-stationcontract.
Baghlan provincial council have linked the incident to the Taliban, whohave not yet commented.
