Pakistani PM Imran Khan thanks Iranian and Turkish leadership

*ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan has thanked Iranian Supreme LeaderAyatollah Ali Khamenei and Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan for raising thevoice against the massacre of Muslims in India and Kashmiris in IOJ&K bythe Hindu supremacist Modi regime.*

In a tweet, the prime minister said: “Sadly, few voices from the Muslimworld are speaking out and condemning this. More voices are being raised inthe West, condemning the Hindu supremacist Modi regime’s massacre ofMuslims in India & Kashmiris in IOJ& K.”

On Thursday, Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei urged India to‘confront extremist Hindus’ and ‘stop the massacre of Muslims’, adding tothe international fallout over deadly Hindu-Muslim violence in New Delhi.

At least 44 people were killed and hundreds injured in the worst communalriots in the Indian capital in decades, triggered by clashes betweensupporters of a new citizenship law and those against it.

“The hearts of Muslims all over the world are grieving over the massacre ofMuslims in India,” Khamenei said in a tweet in English, just days after NewDelhi rebuked Iran’s foreign minister for commenting on the same issue.
