WASHINGTON – The United States says talks with Taliban in Qatar are focusedon counterterrorism, troops’ withdrawal and a ceasefire.
Deputy Spokesperson of US state department Robert Palladino replying to aquestion at press briefing in Washington said.
He said negotiations between US Special Representative Khalilzad andTaliban are in progress to discuss intra-Afghan dialogue and futureagreement.
He said that we want to give all the parties time to work out issues.
