Chinese Technology Services Company to invest 600 million in Pakistan s public transport sector

*BEIJING – The Chinese technology services company Timesaco, is eager toinvest over $600 million in Pakistan’s public transport sector.*

“The company intends to invest $600 million and this amount will increasewith the scope of the business,” said Asad Ullah, Media Manager of Timesacoreported *Arab News*.

The company official said that Timesaco intends to restore and restructurePakistan’s public transportation system by replicating the Chinese model.

Last year, the Chinese company launched ‘Tatu Mobility’ a transportationinfrastructure network in Pakistan to promote e-transportation sectorbusiness in the country.

The Founder and CEO of ‘Tatu Mobility’ Donald-Li said informed that ‘TatuMobility’ will provide Mobility Services to all public transports includingindividual, business corporations, merchants, private organizations, andgovernment sector, like taxi-hailing, pick and drop, bus booking, vehiclerental and other related technology services.

The company now intends to bring this service into Karachi, and will meetthe provincial government officials for this purpose, in coming days. “Weare planning to launch the service in the third or fourth week of February2020 in Karachi,” he said.

At the moment, the ‘Tatu Mobility’ service is available only in the citiesof Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

The company provides different services like instant delivery, cityfreight, taxi service and help services.
