Pakistan seek big diplomatic victory from Saudi Arabia against India over Occupied Kashmir

ISLAMABAD – Chairman of Saudi Shura Council Dr. Abdullah-ibne-Muhammad AlSheikh has called for lifting of curfew and lockdown in Indian OccupiedKashmir at the earliest.

He was talking to Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser along withdelegation of Saudi Majlis-ash-Shura, in Islamabad on Thursday.

He said Saudi Arabia wants resolutions of all conflicts including theKashmir issue through dialogue.

The Chairman of Saudi Shura Council also agreed with Asad Qaiser’s proposalof convening conference of parliamentary representatives of Islamiccountries on Kashmir.

He condemned the brutalities being perpetrated on the Muslims of Kashmirand Palestine. He said we stand by the Kashmiri people and express our firmsolidarity with them.

The Chairman said friendly relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia arestrengthening with the passage of time. He said his country considersPakistan its sincere friend and brother.

He also appreciated the role of Pakistan in promoting harmony amongst theMuslim countries.

Speaking on the occasion, the Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser saidPakistan and Saudi Arabia are tied in everlasting cultural, religious andhistorical bonds.

He said Pakistan values its cordial brotherly relations with Saudi Arabia.Asad Qaiser said Saudi Arabia always supported Pakistan in the hour oftrial.

The Speaker National Assembly strongly condemned the incident ofdesecration of Holy Quran in Norway, saying the OIC must play its proactiverole to stop such incidents.

He said continuous contacts between parliamentarians of both countries canplay a pivotal role to further strengthen the brotherly ties.
