*LONDON – Hussain Nawaz, the son of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, hassaid that his mother, Begum Kulsoom Nawaz, is still on the ventilator butis now conscious.*
Hussain said that Kulsoom is now able to recognise family members. She caneven communicate with them through gestures but is not able to speak yet,he said.
Kulsoom is still admitted at the Harley Street Clinic in London. She wentto London last year to be treated for cancer.
