ISLAMABAD – Babar Azam makes history in ICC World Cup 2019.
Babar Azam has surpassed the legendary Javed Miandad to become the highestscorer in a World Cup tournament for Pakistan. Azam has made 474 in eightmatches in the 2019 International Cricket Council (ICC) World Cup.
Miandad previously held the title of most runs scored in a single World Cupfor Pakistan when he made 437 runs in the 1992 World Cup. Azam surpassedthe legendary batsman with an innings of 96 off 98 balls against Bangladeshon Friday.
