LAHORE – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president, Shehbaz Sharif onMonday stated that party would definitely issue the ticket to disgruntledChaudhry Nisar for general polls 2018.
The statement arrived after Ch Nisar refused submitting the application forseeking PML-N’s ticket to contest general elections 2018.
Nisa who was a member of PML-N’s parliamentary board back then in 2013 hasannounced to contest elections from NA-59 and NA-63 constituencies.
On the other hand, PML-N has not included its senior leader in theparliamentary board constituted for award tickets.
PML-N President Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has said that candidates having thepassion to serve the public will be given priority in the award to ticketsfor the next election which the PML-N win with thumping majority with thesupport of the masses.
Addressing at the Parliamentary Board meeting which scrutinized theapplications for the Sargodha candidates Shehbaz Sharif said promises madewith the people have been fulfilled as load-shedding and terrorism havebeen ended. Similarly, savings to the tune of billions of rupees indifferent development projects is another achievement of the Party, he said.
During the meeting, interviews of different candidates were held for theupcoming elections.
Shahbaz said that PML-N is deep-rooted in the masses and the party haspromoted the politics of public service. In fact, PML-N is the largest andmost popular political party in the country and public service, honesty,trust and transparency are the glowing hallmarks of the party.
The present tenure of the PML-N government was the golden period of ourhistory as the number of projects started and completed by the PML-N ledgovernment has no resemblance in the 70 years history of the country, headded.
Shehbaz Sharif said that promises made with the people in the partymanifesto have been fulfilled and the masses will make the politics ofpublic service a success in the upcoming elections.
He said that PML-N leadership has worked very hard to serve the people anddue to the untiring efforts made by the government, Punjab province isleading other provinces with regard to development and prosperity. ShehbazSharif vowed that he will continue to serve the masses till the last dropof his blood and added that no one can sever his relation with the people.
The projects completed in our tenure are an example of its own. On thecontrary, he said the political opponents remained engrossed in makinghollow claims and did not serve the masses. After a passage of five years,the PML-N is proudly standing with its head high in the court of thepublic, concluded Shehbaz Sharif.
Former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, former federal and provincialministers including Kh. Saad Rafique, Rana Tanvir Hussain, Khurram DastagirKhan, Ch. Tanvir, Ahsan Iqbal and others attended the meeting.
