*KARACHI:* Upcoming Pakistani movie, *Paarwaz Hai Junoon* featuring HamzaAli Abbasi, Ahad Raza Mir and Shaz Khan among others seems to have landeditself in legal trouble.
According to reports, the wardrobe stylist of the film, Soomar Rehman, hassued the production house behind the film, MD Productions, for not givinghim credit for his work in the promotional materials of the film so far. Asas a result, the court has restrained the release on any promotionalcontent of the film.
A legal notice which was sent to MD Productions stated that Soomar wasemployed under a two-year contract from December 2016 as “creative manager& wardrobe stylish” for *Parwaaz Hai Junoon*. However, his employment wasterminated over a phone call dated August 31, 2017; the reason being thatthe project for which was hired had been completed.
Furthermore, the legal notice elaborated that Rehman was not given his duecredit in any of the promotional materials of the film and instead twoindividuals “who never performed any role in the movie” were named.
Currently, the court has directed MD Productions to not release any morepromotional materials before the next hearing on Monday.
