ISLAMABAD – Information Minister Chaudhry Fawad Hussain has said PML-Nleader Hamza Shahbaz Sharif and his family are involved in money launderingof about 100 billion rupees abroad.
Talking to media in Islamabad this afternoon, he said Shahbaz Sharif andhis family owned assets worth about 85 billion rupees in the United Kingdomprocured through money laundering.
The Minister said Hamza Shahbaz should have surrendered before the NationalAccountability Bureau team went to his residence to arrest him afterfulfilling all legal formalities. He said it is unfortunate that HamzaShahbaz did not cooperate with the NAB team, but also obstructed itsinvestigation by attacking the team members.
Chaudhry Fawad Hussain said it was the commitment of Prime Minister ImranKhan to bring back the looted money of the people of Pakistan. He saidwhenever an action is taken against plunderers and looters they startcrying.
