Reforms introduced in health, education sectors: Khattak

PESHAWAR:Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak has said that government has spent more than thirty-five billion rupees on the development of infrastructure of primary schools in the province.

Addressing a public gathering in District Kohistan on Sunday, he said about three thousand schools have been constructed across the province for provision of quality education to the students at their door steps.

Pervez Khattak said several legislations have been made for the supremacy of Islamic values in the province.

Referring to the reforms agenda of the provincial government, Chief Minister said that necessary reforms have been introduced in health, education and police sectors to get better results.

On this occasion, he announced various developmental projects including construction of twenty-eight kilometer long road, Tehsil Headquarter Hospital and establishment of a sports ground.

Earlier, Pervez Khattak had also announced the up-gradation of Sevo area of District Kohistan to Sub-Division.APP/AFP
