NAB opens new inquiries against several high profile figures

ISLAMABAD- The NAB’s executive board committee meeting held in Islamabadtoday took vital decisions to open many high profile inquiries andinvestigations across the board.

NAB Chief gave approval to Azizia Steel Mills and Flagship Investmentsupplementary references against former prime minister Nawaz Sharif. Thesupplementary references had already been filed in the accountability court.——————————

The meeting also approved to initiate investigation against PakistanTehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan for allegedly using KhyberPukhtunkhwa government helicopter.——————————

According to a NAB spokesperson, the board also gave approval to startinquiry against Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif for allegedlytransferring suspected funds.

The NAB’s executive board also approved to initiate investigation againstAhad Cheema, administration of Paragon City. The board also approved tostart an inquiry against PPP Senator Usman Saifullah.

The Board also gave approval to start investigation against former financeMinister Ishaq Dar, Anusha Rehman, chairman PTA Dr Ismail, Chief MinisterKhyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak and chief secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
