Muzaffarabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that it was his firmbelief that Kashmir will be liberated soon.
While addressing a special session of the Legislative Assembly of the AzadJammu and Kashmir (AJK) on occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day, PM said thatfollowing the abrogation of Article 370 by Narendra Modi led government,Kashmir will be liberated soon.
He further said that Narendra Modi’s entire campaign was anti-Pakistan.
“Modi’s entire campaign was based on anti-Pakistan rhetoric. He ispromoting RSS’ extremist ideology in India which is extremely dangerous forthe country. I have tried exposing the RSS-agenda of Indian government atevery international forum by highlighting atrocities in Kashmir,” he said.
PM added that the controversial citizenship bill has threatened allminorities in India.
He further said that he has always favored democracy.
“The history has proven that no matter how bad a democracy it is always afavorable option. West flourished as they adopted democracy resulting instabilized economy,” he said.
PM further said that destiny of a country equipped with corruption isalways doomed.
“I do not have any personal enmity with anyone but how can I extend a handof friendship to those who have plundered national wealth?” he asked.
Earlier today, Prime Minister reached Muzaffarabad where he was presentedwith a guard of honour.
He was accompanied by Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Chairman ofSpecial Committee on Kashmir Syed Fakhar Imam and Federal Minister forKashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Ali Amin Gandapur.
Kashmir Solidarity Day
Kashmir Solidarity Day is being observed today to express support toKashmiri people in their right to self-determination under United Nationsresolutions.
This year the day is being observed after India illegally revoked thespecial status of in August, 2019 breaching all international laws andregulations.
Public meetings, rallies and seminars were held across the country,including Azad Kashmir to highlight the gross human rights violationshappening in the valley.
