PM Khan approves a huge package for SP Tahir Khan Dawar family

ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan has approved a package of Rs70million for the grieving family of Superintendent of Police (SP) Tahir KhanDawar.

SP Dawar, head of Peshawar police’s rural circle, was kidnapped inIslamabad on October 26 and his body was recovered in AfghanistanNangarhar province the next month.

“SP Tahir Dawar was a brave son of Pakistan,” State Minister SheharyarAfridi said at a press conference in Islamabad alongside Khyber PakhtunkhwaInspector General of Police Salahuddin Khan Mehsud. He recalled that thedeceased police officer had previously survived two attacks and was a breadearner for three families.
