ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman, Imran Khan has grilled thetop PTI leadership over the race for the ministerial slots in the upcominggovernment.
He reprimanded the aspiring candidates for the slot of Chief ministerPunjab, saying the media backing would not help them.
PM-in-waiting Imran Khan summoned a few central leaders of his party andclarified them that he was not watching TV these days owing to the busyschedule.
Moreover, according to Mir, the upcoming prime minister blatantly told theaspirants of the provincial chief executive that no matter how excessivemedia campaigns are being launched, it would not help them become the chiefminister of Punjab.
‘I have secured 115 seats in total but you are pressing me as if PTIgovernment has to appoint 150 ministers,’ Khan told his fellows.
Mir disclosed that Imran Khan had told his fellows that ‘let me make theappointments on merit’.
About the upcoming set up in Punjab, TV anchor disclosed that it would be acombination of a chief executive with a powerful governor having a vastexperience of administration.
