ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif chaired high level consultative meeting to review the proposed Terms of References of opposition that would be probing into the allegations of Panama leaks.
As per details, a high level meeting was held under the chairmanship of PM Nawaz to discuss the joint TORs of opposition. Federal Ministers, PM Assistants and legal team participated in the meeting.
PM Nawaz was briefed by his legal team over the proposed Terms of References of opposition while majority of participants in the meeting termed the TORs discriminatory saying that opponents did not want across the board accountability.
Sources claimed that PM Nawaz said that he is being targeted by opponents for their own interests but he has never feared from accountability in past and never afraid now.
The meeting under PM Nawaz chaired decided to take government alliance parties into confidence over the TORs of opposition for inquiry commission.
Federal minister for Law Zahid Hamid and Interior Minister Ch. Nisar are going to hold a press conference here at today to inform media about government stance over opposition Terms of References.
