KABUL – Top ISIS leader was killed in a drone strike which was conducted ineastern Nangarhar province of Afghanistan on Tuesday night.
The provincial government media office in a statement said foreign forcescarried out an airstrike using unmanned aerial vehicle which targeted agroup of ISIS militants in Abdul Khel area of Achin district, Khaama Presshas reported.
The statement furhter added that a prominent leader of ISIS Khurasanidentified as Mawlavi Sulaiman was killed in the airstrike together withhis four fighters.
Some weapons and munitions were also destroyed during the same airstrike,the provincial government added.
