NEW DELHI – The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA from Uttar Pradesh sparkedcontroversy on Friday saying those who feel unsafe in India should bebombed.

Vikram Saini has demanded a law for stringent action against those peoplecomplaining of feeling ‘unsafe’ in India.

“‘My personal view is that those who say they feel unsafe and threatenedin India should be bombed.”

The MLA also said that he should be given a ministry and he will bomb allsuch people. “Not even one will be spared.”

The MLA’s remark came after actor Naseeruddin Shah, in an apparentreference to the recent mob violence, said at many places the death of acow is being given more importance than the killing of a policeman.

The veteran actor also expressed anxiety over the well-being of hischildren, who he said have not been brought up as followers of anyparticular religion.
