KABUL: An suicide attack hit an area of the Afghan capital Kabul onThursday, officials and witnesses said, causing casualties among nearbysecurity personnel.
At least 10 people were killed in the blast while scores were injured, saidAfghan media in its initial reports. According to the eyewitnesses, it wasa suicide bombing; however, the police officials have not commented on theincident so far.
The explosion occurred at around 8:30 pm Kabul time.
