ISLAMABAD – Pakistan’s Shahida Hazara makes history with first Gold Medalfor country in the South Asian Games 2019.
Pakistan karatekas started the week with great success and won three medalsin the on-going 2019 South Asian Games on Monday.
Shahida Hazara opened the account with a gold medal in the Single Katacategory with 42 points.

Following her was Naimatullah who scored 24.92 points to win a silver medalin Men’s Kata.
The third medal went to Shahida and Nargis, who teamed up in the Team Katacategory. They both won silver as well.

Lastly, Naseer Ahmed, Noman, and Naimatullah collectively helped Pakistanwin the fourth medal of the day in men’s Team Kata.
It is worth adding that Pakistan also qualified for the final of thevolleyball event after beating Bangladesh where they will face India onTuesday.
