ISLAMABAD: Indian forces used live ammunition against protesters in Shopian district in Indian occupied Kashmir on.
According to Kashmir Media Service (KMS), Indian forces fired bullets, pellets, PAVA and teargas shells on the people who took to the streets against the violent cordon and search operation jointly conducted by Indian army’s 34 Rashtriya Rifles, Central Reserve Police Force and Special Operation Groups at Sangran Imam Sahib area of the district.
The forces also attempted to destroy a house in the area.
Meanwhile, authorities also suspended internet services and blocked all roads of the district.
