Survey conducted in five constituencies of Imran Khan reveals startling results

ISLAMABAD – Seemingly confident about the victory in upcoming general pollsset to be held on July 25, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman ImranKhan will contest elections from five National Assembly constituencies.

Imran Khan had submitted nomination papers for NA-53 (Islamabad), NA-95(Mianwali), NA-131 Lahore, NA-243 in Karachi and NA-35.

Amid the election fever, a survey conducted by Roshan Pakistan in the fiveconstituencies has revealed surprising details, claiming that Khan willeasily bag victory from NA-95 (Mianwali) against PML-N candidate HajiUbaidullah as he has 71 percent chances to win in the hometown constituency.

In NA-53 (Islamabad), the PTI chief will be facing former prime ministerShahid Khaqan Abbasi where, according to the survey, former will give toughtime to Khan. The NA-53 contest is being considered one of the majorelection battlefield. As per opinion survey, Khan has 48% chances to winagainst Abbasi’s 38%.

The survey data shows the PTI chief would have to face defeat in NA-35(Bannu) where Akram Khan Durrani, a candidate of Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal(MMA), has a strong position with 42% opinion polls in his favour. Thechances of Khan’s victory in this constituency are mere 29%.

In NA-243, a strongholdof Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P), thecricketer-turned-politician will be facing MQM’s Khalid Maqbool Siddiquiand PPP’s Shehla Raza. Siddqui is leading the polls with 35% followed byKhan 32% and Raza 17%.

However, the data about the NA-131 (Lahore) where PML-N’s Khawaja SaadRafique will be facing the PTI chief has not been shared so far. HoweverImran Khan is likely to win from Lahore.
