ISLAMABAD – National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Justice (retired)Javed Iqbal on Tuesday ordered a probe into the illegal allotment of landin Gwadar.
The anti-graft watchcdog has found that the illegal allotment of 3,167acres caused a loss of over Rs70 billion to the national exchequer,officials said.
They further said officials of the Gwadar Industrial State DevelopmentAuthority misused their power and illegally alloted commercial plots totheir relatives.
The NAB chief directed head of the bureau’s Balochistan chapter to submitan inquiry report in this regard.
