ISLAMABAD: Five people have been killed and one injured in rain related incidents in different areas of the Lahore.
According to a Rescue 1122 spokesman, the rescue teams are carrying out rescue and relief activities in different areas of the city.
Heavy rain lashed Lahore this morning and received 170 millimeter rainfall during last twenty four hours so far.
The teams of WASA are busy in the drainage of rainwater from low-laying areas.
Rain-thundershower with gusty winds is expected at a number of places in Hazara, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Faisalabad divisions, Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir, while at isolated places in Malakand, Peshawar, Kohat, Bannu, D.I.Khan and Sahiwal divisions.
