LAHORE: A case has been registered against Pakistan Muslim League-Nawazleader Hamza Shehbaz, Zulfiqar Cheema, Inspector Ateeq Dogar, formerInspector General Rana Maqbool and Imran Yousuf on the complaint of AyeshaAhad, said CCPO Amin Wains.
Earlier, on Saturday, Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar orderedInspector General of Police Punjab to register a case against thoseallegedly involved in abusing Ahad — the woman who claims to be married toformer Chief Minister Punjab Shehbaz Sharif’s son Hamza Shehbaz.
In her plea, Ahad said that she and her daughter face danger from HamzaShehbaz, following which the apex court summoned her to appear before it.
The police official said that sections: 382, 342, 506, 337, 148, 149, 511,354 are included in the case, adding that Section 354 is a non-bailableoffense.link>link>
Ahad’s complaint file in 2011 has also been made part of the FIR.
Earlier, Ahad had alleged that she contracted marriage with Hamza Shehbazin 2010.
Ahad had demanded that a committee be formed to probe her allegations justas a parliamentary committee had been formed to investigate former PTImember Ayesha Gulalai’s allegations of harassment against Imran Khan.
