ISLAMABAD – *Pakistan cricket captain Sarfraz Ahmed, known for his on fielddisplay of anger, has said on Monday that he is learning to manage hisanger better.*
He said this at the post-match presentation, after his side cruised to yetanother victory against visitors the West Indies, winning the second T20Iby 82 runs, after imposing a mammoth target of 206 runs on the board.
“My boys are brilliant and they have a great understanding of the game andas a result, they have performed well. I’m trying to learn things such asanger management etc. Trying to stay calm and instill confidence in theyoungsters,” said Sarfraz.
The overjoyed skipper praised his side, particularly the youngsters, forexhibiting confidence against the West Indies. Sarfraz was impressed withall-rounder Hussain Talat for his performance in the match.
“I love it when youngsters come to the team and play with so muchconfidence such as Talat today, Shadab a few months ago, and even Babar. SoI think every youngster that comes in has the same confidence of playing,”he added.
Talat went on to score 63 runs with the bat and also picked up two wickets,taking his side to another series win. Pakistan would play the third andfinal T20I of the series tonight (Tuesday) at Karachi’s National Stadium.
