LAHORE – A petition against Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has been filed inLahore high Court (LHC) here on Saturday.
As per details, the petition stated that fake account of Facebook caninfluence on general elections 2018. In the petition, the fedralgovernment, the paksitan Telecom Authoriy (PTA) and the Election Comissionof Pakisatn (ECP) has been made a party.
A few months ago, Facebook Inc Chief Executive Mark Zuckerberg said thatfake accounts can affect upcoming elections in Pakistan, India, Brazil andother countries, adding that Facebook will weed out bogus accounts seekingto interfere in elections and spread misinformation.
