NAROWAL – Former Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal has denied arranging ameeting of Reham Khan, former wife of PTI chairman Imran Khan, with MaryamNawaz.
In a statement on Saturday, he said that he had met Reham Khan once in aninterview.
Ahsan Iqbal said that the interview was conducted before the marriage ofReham Khan with Imran Khan. He said that PTI’s act to defend themselvesthrough fabricated e-mails is shameful.
Earlier, PTI spokesman Fawad Chaudhry had accused Reham Khan of meetingMaryam Nawaz.
He said that Reham called on Maryam Nawaz and that the meeting was arrangedby former interior minister Ahsan Iqbal.
The PTI spokesman also reiterated his claims on Twitter saying that “thewhole book [written by Reham] is an exercise to demolish only realopposition.”
