ISLAMABAD- The Organization of Islamic Cooperation has also condemned thenew wave of violence in Indian Occupied Kashmir.
In a statement issued in Jeddah today (Monday), OIC General Secretary Dr.Yousef A. Al-Othaimeen called upon the world community to play its rightfulrole for a just and lasting solution to the Kashmir dispute in accordancewith relevant OIC and UN Security Council resolutions and aspirations ofthe Kashmiri people.
He reiterated his call on India to allow access to the fact-finding missionof his Special Representative for Jammu and Kashmir and the OIC’sIndependent Permanent Human Rights Commission to Indian occupied Jammu andKashmir.
Secretary General Othaimeen conveyed his sincere condolences to thefamilies of the victims and wished for speedy recovery of the injured.
