Former Prime Minister Imran Khan experienced a health scare whileincarcerated at Adiala jail, as reported on Wednesday. Imran Khan fellinside Adiala Jail due severe stomach pain.
According to sources, Khan voiced complaints of stomach pain, promptingauthorities to arrange a medical examination for him. In response to hisdiscomfort, doctors assessed Imran Khan’s condition within the confines ofthe jail barracks and administered medication to alleviate his pain.Throughout the examination, police presence was maintained.
It is worth noting that Imran Khan is currently serving time in connectionwith the cipher case filed under the Official Secrets Act, as he faceslegal proceedings.
In addition to this legal situation, Khan’s wife, Bushra Begum, has takenlegal action by filing a petition in the Islamabad High Court. Thispetition expresses concerns about the former Prime Minister’s safety,suggesting the possibility of threats to his life, including poisoning.
