LAHORE – PML N leaders have landed into yet another trouble as the megaproject of Orange Line Metro Train has been tainted with Rs 4 billioncorruption changes.
National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Justice (r) Javed Iqbal onWednesday ordered an investigation into alleged corruption in Orange Lineproject.
A meeting of the bureau’s executive board took the decision in the light ofa Dunya News report which said several officials allegedly caused a loss ofRs4 billion to the national exchequer.
NAB ordered inquiry into allegations levied against officials of the LahoreDevelopment Authority (LDA) and Nespak. The officials allegedly misusedtheir authority to cause a loss of Rs4 billion to the national exchquer.
