ISLAMABAD: (APP) Former Prime Minister Norway Kjell Magne Bondevik on Friday stressed the need for highlighting the Kashmir issue among international community.
There was need to highlight the suffering of the Kashmiri people at international level so that the peaceful solution of the dispute could be achieved, he stated this while talking to PTV.
“I want to bring this issue on the agenda so that more people at international level should be engaged for peaceful solution of Kashmir,” he said.
The people are suffering in Kashmir and the situation was serious, adding that the people have lost their lives, he observed.
It was very clear that there was need to have a political solution on this conflict and this issue should be taken up at higher international agenda, he said.
