ISLAMABAD – Election Commission has taken several decisions to ensure voteprivacy during the senate elections to be held on Saturday.
The decisions were taken at a review meeting with the returning officersregarding arrangements for senate elections in Islamabad today (Wednesday).
The Commission decided that Returning Officers will ensure that no votercould expose vote’s privacy and neither be allowed to take issued ballotpaper outside the polling station.
The election commission has decided to handover powers of full magistrateto all the returning officers which will enable them to punish theviolators of the rules and regulations.
