USER DATA POLICY - RETENTION AND DELETION

Purpose

The purpose of this policy is to inform our website and mobile application users regarding TIMES OF ISLAMABAD user data retention and deletion process.

To make things simpler, we follow the data minimization process which ensures that we collect, store, process, and use only information that is necessary to provide required service.

In our case, we are only collecting basic user data if they are interested in subscribing to our daily newsletter. We only collect users’ names and eMail IDs in order to provide these interested users with our daily newsletter through eMail.

In line with the laws set out under General Data Protection Regulation - GDPR, we offer our newsletter subscribers to unsubscribe whenever they want to, by simply accessing the ‘Opt-Out’ link present at the bottom of our daily newsletter. All the user’s stored data (Name and eMail ID) is immediately removed from our servers once they choose to ‘Opt-Out’ of our services through the above process.
