JEDDAH — Pakistani PM Imran Khan gave full assurance to Saudi Arabia overits territorial security and integrity, Saudi Media Report has revealed.
Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy premier and minister of defense,held wide ranging talks with Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan atAl-Salam Palace in Jeddah on Thursday.
At the outset of the meeting, the Pakistani prime minister stronglydenounced the attacks on Saudi Aramco’s plants in Abqaiq and Khurais. Hepledged Pakistan’s full support and stand with Saudi Arabia with all itscapabilities in confronting these acts of sabotage, Saudi Gazette hasreported.
For his part, the Crown Prince stressed that these acts are aimed toundermine the security and stability of the region, affirming theimportance of countering such acts of sabotage.
The meeting was also attended by Prince Turki Bin Mohammed Bin Fahd,minister of the state and member of the Cabinet; Prince Abdullah BinBandar, minister of the National Guard; Ibrahim Al-Assaf, minister offoreign affairs; Khalid Al-Humaidan, chief of General Intelligence; SaudiAmbassador to Pakistan Nawaf Al-Malki, and the Pakistani prime minister’saccompanying delegation.
Earlier, Imran Khan was received at King Abdulaziz International Airport byPrince Khaled Al-Faisal, emir of Makkah and advisor to Custodian of the TwoHoly Mosques, Minister of Foreign Affairs Ibrahim Al-Assaf and a number ofofficials.
