JEDDAH – Saudi Arabia government has yet another good news for UmrahPilgrims as it has reduced the Umrah Visa fee for pilgrims.
The Saudi Council of Ministers has recently approved restructuring of visasystem for Haj and Umrah pilgrims as well as for visitors and transitpassengers, international media reported.
This is through unifying the visa fee for issuing visa for each person at arate of SR300. The Cabinet also canceled fee for repeating Umrahpilgrimage.
According to the decision, SR300 to be charged for single entry for aperiod of three months on the visit visa for the purpose of Umra, tourismor business or visiting friends and relatives or other purposes. On Hajvisa SR300 would be charged.
Transport to be provided for the group buses. Multiple visa period is oneyear as all the pilgrims will have to pay 5 percent tax.
This revoked the earlier rule to the effect that an Umrah pilgrim had topay SR2,000 in case of repeating the pilgrimage during a period of threeyears.
