ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Army Chief General Qamar Bajwa to join PM Imran Khanin meeting with Chinese President in Beijing.
Prime Minister Imran Khan will head to China on Monday for an officialvisit in order to discuss issues of regional and bilateral importance withthe Chinese leadership, *Radio Pakistan*link reported.
He will meet separately with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Premier LiKeqiang.
The Foreign Office (FO) in a statement today said that the prime ministerwill be accompanied by a high-level delegation including Foreign MinisterShah Mahmood Qureshi, Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid, Minister forPlanning, Development and Reform Makhdum Khusro Bakhtyar and others.
Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa will join the primeminister’s meetings with Chinese premier Li Keqiang and President XiJinping.
Premier will discuss expansion of projects under the China-PakistanEconomic Corridor (CPEC) and cooperation in the agriculture, industrial andsocio-economic sectors.
