PM Imran Khan issues special instructions to CDA Chairman over Azadi March

ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan issues special instructions to CDAChairman over Azadi March.

Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan on Wednesday directed the CapitalDevelopment Authority (CDA) chairman to visit the Azadi March sit-in siteto assess what relief can be provided to the protesters.

In a tweet, after rainfall in Islamabad, the prime minister said, “I havedirected the CDA Chairman to immediately visit the dharna site.”

“What relief and assistance can be provided to the dharna participants withthe onset of rain and changing weather conditions,” he tweeted.

Azadi March participantslinkstuckin troubles after intermittent rainfall in Islamabad on Wednesday.

According to the reports, rain and thunderstorms intensified the coldweather in federal capital and participants of the Azadi March are forcedto seek shelter in mosques and containers. Several tents of protestorswere also lit by strong winds.

On the other hand, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) haspredicted more rainfall and strong winds for the next four to five days.
