ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan left on Saturday for Saudi Arabia ona one-day visit to the kingdom.
The prime minister will hold talks with Saudi leadership on the entirespectrum of bilateral relations as well as the regional situation.
He will also pay his respect at Roza-e-Rasool (PBUH) in Madina Munawwara.According to the foreign office, the visit is part of regular exchangesbetween the leadership of both the countries.
“As part of the regular exchanges between the leadership of Pakistan andthe Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Prime Minister will be visiting SaudiArabia on 14 December 2019.
The consultations will cover bilateral matters and recent developments inthe regional context,” said a statement by Pakistan’s foreign ministry.
Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi earlier said that the two countrieswould discuss issues between Muslim countries and the importance ofresolving those issues.
