ISLAMABAD – US Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross has said several UScompanies are desirous of enhancing their investments to Pakistan.
He made the remarks during his meeting with Adviser on Commerce RazakDawood in Islamabad on Wednesday.
Wilbur Ross said we want to play our full part in the progress anddevelopment of Pakistan.
He said Pakistan and the United States will have to collectively work topromote the volume of their bilateral trade.
In his remarks, the Adviser on Commerce said that the government is takingspecial steps to ensure ease of doing business.
Secretary Ross is visiting Pakistan to discuss further strengtheningeconomic, trade and investment ties between the two countries in pursuanceof the shared vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan and President DonaldTrump.
The US Secretary of Commerce will also meet Adviser on Finance and Revenueand Minister for Energy.
He will also call on Prime Minister Imran Khan.
