British Foreign Secretary admits TTP attacking Pakistan from Afghanistan

ISLAMABAD: British Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond said that terrorists are attacking Pakistan from Afghanistan and they return back after attacks. Both countries need to improve their border security.

As per details, Philip was addressing a joint press conference with Sartaj Aziz in Islamabad here at Tuesday. Talking about the Indo-Pak relations he emphasized both countries to resolve their disputes through dialogues. Both countries will have to stop the menace of terrorism with mutual efforts.

Speaking at the occasion, Advisor to PM Nawaz on foreign affairs Sartaj Aziz said that the visit of British FS is an important opportunity for both countries to review the bilateral ties.

Affairs related to regional security situation, Indo-Pak relations, Afghanistan and British FS visit to Afghanistan were discussed in the meeting with Philip. Sartaj added.

PM Advisor also confirmed the intelligence sharing reports with India saying that it is is a good step to create dialogues for the security of both countries. He further stated that Pakistani team will leave for India after few days to investigate Pathankot attacks.

Pakistan has long been complaining about the cross border attacks from the Afghanistan side into Pakistan. Pakistan has also provided the evidences of the TTP attacking in Pakistan from the Afghanistan soil to the Afghanistan President along with the involvement of the Indian Intelligence Agency RAW and the Afghan intelligence Agency NDS.

Indian consulates in eastern Afghanistan have long been found by Pakistan to be involved in anti states activities harmful for national security of Pakistan. Ex. TTP militant commander Latif Ullah Mehsud had previously revealed about the joint venture of RAW- NDS in eastern  Afghanistan against Pakistan which is actively supporting TTP and other associate groups for carrying out deadly terrorist attacks in Pakistan.
