ISLAMABAD: Calling upon the masses to get ready for his Thursday afternoonpresser, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan said he willmake ‘explosive’ revelations today.
Taking to his official twitter account, Khan cursed the parliament forallowing a disqualified person to become the head of political party.
“When a Parliament, which must protect nation’s interests, passes aperson-specific law allowing a disqualified person guilty of Rs3 bn moneylaundering, tax evasion, concealment of assets, forgery & perjury to becomehead of a pol [political] party, then such a law is a “laanath” [curse] onParl [parliament],” he tweeted.
In a subsequent tweet, he said the use of ‘damned’ word is still a mildword to use. “If anyone disagrees, I challenge them to do a public poll onwhat ppl [people] think of such a Parliament. I can guarantee most willcondemn it,” Khan said in his tweet.
Moreover, the PTI chairman announced to make ‘explosive’ revelations in hispress conference Thursday afternoon.
“Fasten your seatbelts as I will be making explosive revelations in mypress conference this afternoon!” he tweeted.
Khan made these tweets at the heels of a grand protest by the majoropposition parties in Lahore to demand justice for victims of the ModelTown tragedy.
