*QUETTA:* Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has revealedwhat could have been gone inside the meeting between PM Shahid Khaqan andCJP Justice Saqib Nisar.

He said that Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi must have ‘begged’ theChief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Saqib Nisar to forgive Nawaz Sharif.

Speaking at a joint press conference in Quetta, Imran claimed that “I amsure PM Abbasi must have pleaded with the CJP and in the United States tosave Nawaz,” Imran said.

While hearing the Murree constructions suo moto case earlier today, CJPtold counsel Latif Khosa that the meeting between himself and PM Abbasi wasfruitful for the judiciary. “We gained a lot from the meeting and lostnothing. The pleaders came with their requests but got nothing,” CJP added.

Speaking to the media outside the accountability court, Nawaz responded toCJP’s remarks saying that he is not ‘surprised’ and that PM Abbasi ‘camewith requests’ to meet him. He added that the premier has the authority toask for explanations.
