KARACHI – Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) is likely to join thePTI led federal government in Islamabad but after fulfilment of its demand.
Sources have revealed that MQM Pakistan has put forward various demands tojoin Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf-led (PTI) government in National Assembly.
The party, after consultation with Rabita Committee, has demanded to stoptargeted operation and to reopen its offices in Karachi. It also asked tohold vote recount in 12 constituencies of Karachi.
MQM-P further demanded to construct university in Hyderabad and to issuefunds to the mayor.
Earlier, a PTI delegation meeting* h*linkby Jahangir Tareen was held at MQM-Pakistan headquarters in Karachi.
Talking to newsmen, MQM-Pakistan Convener Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui saidthat mandate given by people to political parties should be honoured andhoped that PTI leader will address the reservations of political parties.He added that the PTI offer will be kept before Rabita Committee meeting.
PTI leader Jahangir Tareen said that MQM-Pakistan has been requested to bea part of federal government. He said that major issues of Karachi likedrinking water and other problems will be solved on priority basis.
