*ISLAMABAD – Islamabad High Court Justice Aamir Farooq has recused himselffrom hearing a petition against Imran Khan.*

*A petition was filed seeking the disqualification of PTI chief Imran Khan.*

The IHC judge has referred the case to the Chief Justice with a request toform a new bench.

Hafiz Ihtisham, the spokesperson for Lal Masjid’s Shuhada Foundation, hadsubmitted a petition, asking the court to stop Imran Khan from taking oathas prime minister.

Imran Khan was neither *Sadiq* nor *Amin*, the petition said, referring tothe Seeta White case. It added that Khan had not declared his daughter inthe nomination papers.

A few weeks ago, the Pakistan Justice and Democratic Party had alsoapproached the IHC seeking Imran Khan’s disqualification over similarallegations.
