ISLAMABAD – PTI leader Jahangir Tareen has said that their matters with theMuttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) have been resolved.
Talking to the media after meeting a delegation of the MQM on Friday, hesaid that both parties will cooperate with each other. “We agreed with theMQM’s suggestion for police reforms,” he said.
He said that no attention was paid to Karachi and urban centres. “The PTImanifesto wants an effective local bodies system,” he added.
Jahangir Tareen said that the MQM’s meeting with Imran Khan had been good.
Khalid Mqbool Siddiqui said that the PTI will support them with regard toopening of their constituencies. “We have come here on the invitation ofthe MQM,” he said.
He said that they had kept country’s interests in mind more than politicalinterests.
The MQM leader said that they had moved the Supreme Court over the censusissue. “The objective of prosperity and progress of Karachi is prosperityand progress of the country,” he maintained.
