PM Imran Khan vows to cancel all agreements made against national interest

ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan has said National AccountabilityBureau has been directed to continue an indiscriminate accountabilityprocess in the country.

During a meeting with anchorpersons in Islamabad today (Friday), the PrimeMinister said accountability will be held across the board and without anyprejudice or discrimination.

Imran Khan said if any member of the government is suspected of anyindiscretion, they should also be held accountable.

The Prime Minister welcomed criticism of his government by saying it ratherhelps resolving issues.

He said media has every right to criticise the government, but it shouldgive the PTI government at least three months before criticising itsperformance.

He promised that three months down the road, there will be a markeddifference in the way the country is run.

Prime Minister said none of his cabinet members was appointed permanentlyand could be shuffled on the basis of performance.

Speaking with regard to Pakistan-US ties, he said his government would notaccept any unjust demand by the United States.

Imran Khan said Pakistan also seeks peaceful relations with India,Afghanistan and Iran.

Prime Minister further vowed to cancel all agreements made against nationalinterest.

Replying to a question, the Prime Minister said the purpose of usinghelicopter for travel to and from Banigala aims at saving citizens from thetrouble of traffic holdups.
