ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan has nominatednew Governor Balochindtan.

Dr Ameer Muhammad Khan Jogezai has been nominated as Balochistan Governor.

The notification said that Dr Jogezai was nominated by the party chiefPrime Minister Imran Khan.

The premier has up till now officially nominated Imran Ismail as Sindhgovernor. Ismail will take oath of his charge on August 27.

The notification for Ismail’s appointment was issued on Friday. As per thedetails of the event, the Sindh High Court Chief Justice will take oathfrom him.

“I am thankful to the Almighty Allah, my parents, Prime Minister Imran Khanand the workers of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf for giving me theirconfidence,” he said.

The PTI leader said that he aspires to play the role of a bridge betweenthe federal and provincial government for the betterment of the people ofthe province.

“The people of Sindh will always find me with them. The province’s progresswill remain a top-most priority for me,” the incoming governor vowed.
