*ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan presided over an important meetingover the new accountability law and the performance of the NationalAccountability Bureau. *
*PM Khan o**n Monday stressed the need for making the NationalAccountability Bureau (NAB) more active and potent to fight the menace ofcorruption.*
He was presiding over a high-level meeting in Islamabad to review theissues concerning the Bureau and proposed new accountability law.
Finance Minister Asad Umar, Minister for Law and Justice Farogh Naseem, andPM’s special assistants on political affairs Naeemul Malik and adviser onEstablishment Shehzad Arbab were in attendance in the meeting.
The prime minister emphasized that NAB’s actions should not create animpression of vengeance against anyone.
