*ISLAMABAD – Important developments have been made in the flagship 5million housing project of the PTI government.*
*5 million Housing Project’ will be launched in Punjab and KhyberPakhtunkhwa (KP) in the initial phase, as the project is all set toofficially launch in the coming days.*
Iftikhar Durrani, special assistant to the prime minister on media, hasstated that the housing project will be launched in Punjab and KP provinceswhere Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has its governments in place.
“Once the project sets in motion, we will ask governments in the other twoprovinces [Sindh and Baluchistan] to become part of it,” he said, quoted *ArabNews*.
The official further said that the government will provide basicinfrastructure including land, roads, electricity and other amenities tolocal and foreign investors to build the residential units for the housingproject.

“The most important component of the project is land and the governmentwill provide this to investors,” he said. “The project will helprevolutionize our economy and industry, besides creating job opportunitiesfor skilled and non-skilled workers.”
Prime Minister Imran Khan will formally launch the ‘05 million HousingProject’ during the first half of the next month and the process ofregistration will also commence with the launch of the project.
